    I bought a Google Pixel C tablet from here, it went faulty after 11 and half months, the backlight became faulty a so I contacted the Google store via chat online,, this lasted 5 days, then a further 24 emails to Google Store whilst they tried to sort it OTA with updates and fixes. Eventually they said take it back to Curry's Berryden ABERDEEN because Google Pixel C tablets have a two year warranty, and that they will sort it out for you. I did this morning, it's now just over 12 months old. Curry's said they only give it a 12 month Warranty, I said Google say it's a 24 month warranty, they said, not with us, it's only got a 12 month warranty. I showed them all my emails from Google store but it made no difference. I said EU directive 1999/44/EC laws gives everything in Europe a two year warranty. They said if I want to go down those lines (I have to get a technician) to examine the tablet and write a report stating that the unit is faulty. I said you can see it's faulty, it's only lighting the screen up by 5% the back light isn't working, they said it's still got to be examined by an independent technician stating that. Years ago I said I'd never use Curry's again because of ignorant staff, I wish I'd never gone back to them. I'll never use PC world/ Curry's again. Very very disappointed with Curry's. They weren't rude to me, they were very polite but they wouldn't look at repairing my tablet. Please be aware of this. As far as the two year EU warranty goes, Curry's will make you jump through hoops at your cost to get anything repaired with a 12 month warranty even though it's the law.
